Manufacturing is an in-demand industry that can lead to rewarding and well-paying careers. Companies, schools, and colleges throughout the country are celebrating during the month of October and using the opportunity to draw attention to all the industry has to offer.

Manufacturing Day at CI is a day-long event that brings high school students to CI to explore all of the different careers in manufacturing. These events will give students exposure to real-world manufacturing processes and technologies, explore numerous career pathways and develop skills necessary for successful employment in the manufacturing industry.

It’s a simple truth that our continued existence depends on the health of the Earth. That alone is reason enough for organizations to have a solid commitment to sustainability. But the concept is also an essential element in supporting a thriving business environment.

The past year was a wild ride for Cincinnati Inc. Before we bid a final farewell to 2021, let’s take a look back at some of the highlights of the past 365 days.

Cincinnati Inc. has always had an excellent reputation for being a great place to work. Some of the people in our facility are multi-generation CI employees. What creates that kind of loyalty and, at the same time, brings new applicants to our door? We asked Donna Szarwark, Vice President of Human Resources, what it takes to build a culture of engagement that makes CI an employer of choice.

Step foot in the Cincinnati Incorporated facility in Harrison, Ohio and you’ll see a whole lot of manufacturing goodness. A multitude of machines out on the floor, plenty of hard-working people doing what they do best and lots of showroom, office and classroom space.

CINCINNATI has been around since the 1890s, and we’ve been working hard in southwest Ohio for the duration. As the decades have passed, it’s become a rarity to find an American manufacturing company still producing on U.S. soil.

A few months ago, Larry Allen, Spray Finisher Here at Cincinnati Incorporated, noticed our spray texturing process was not as consistent and quick as it could be. As a result, he decided to refine the process to make it less time consuming and costly. He did all this with no direction from management; this was just pure initiative. Today, we’re going to tell you how he did it.
