Details on Our Record Sponsorship with Hendrick Motorsports

We have been fans of Hendrick Motorsports for a long time. The organization has won 12 championships in the premier NASCAR division, dating back to 1984. The four current full-time Chevrolet teams—driven by Chase Elliott, William Byron, Jimmie Johnson and Alex Bowman—are hard working and talented. And walking through the Hendrick Motorsports facility, you can’t help but be affected by the professionalism, expertise and energy.

It’s obvious that things are done differently at Hendrick. We see a lot of similarities between their American-made culture and our own, which is why we decided to become an official Hendrick Motorsports partner for a team record 10 years. Here is all that the partnership entails.

1. Primary Sponsor of Alex Bowman’s No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

You may have seen an eye-catching CINCINNATI race car recently. On October 6, 2019, the CI car made its debut at Dover International Speedway. Bowman—a playoff qualifier for the second straight year—drove the CI car to a 3rd place finish over the weekend. A solid debut for the new red, black and gray CI livery!

Bowman’s No. 88 CI car will also have a couple encore performances in two 2020 events. On top of that, CINCINNATI will become a full-season associate sponsor of Hendrick’s entire four-car stable from now until 2028.

2. Hendrick Motorsports’ Official Metal Fabrication and Additive Equipment Provider

For the next decade, Hendrick Motorsports will utilize the state-of-the-art equipment at CINCINNATI in the development and construction of its full fleet of race cars. That includes laser cutting machines, press brakes and additive manufacturing machinery.

“Ten years is quite a statement,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “It demonstrates how the Cincinnati team feels about NASCAR and the opportunities the sport presents for their business. From the perspective of our team, it’s a major endorsement of how fantastic the Cincinnati products are and the confidence we have that the relationship will help provide a competitive advantage on the racetrack. We look forward to a lot of trips to Victory Lane together over the next decade.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to begin this relationship with Hendrick Motorsports,” said Rakesh Kumar, vice president of sales, service and marketing for Cincinnati Inc., which was founded in the 1890s. “Rick Hendrick’s teams have a long and storied history of winning at every level. We are proud to be associated with that incredible record and partner with another enduring American brand. We look forward to starting off our partnership as a primary sponsor of Alex Bowman and having a presence across all four teams for many years to come.”
