Software to Power the Future of Fabrication
Rebranding reflects a streamlined portfolio and a sharper focus on connected manufacturing.
HARRISON, OH, USA; OCTOBER 20, 2025 – In today’s increasingly complex manufacturing environment, CINCINNATI® Incorporated (CI) is taking steps to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Today, the leading U.S.-based builder of innovative metal fabrication solutions announces a major rebrand of its software portfolio. The initiative introduces a unified naming convention designed to bring the CI software suite under a consistent and recognizable identity; one that reflects the company’s commitment to connected, efficient, and intelligent manufacturing.
CI’s software portfolio updates include:
CI SUITE (formerly Encompass) – Unified software suite covering design, nesting, bending, scheduling, automation, and analysis to maximize machine efficiency.
CI CONNECT (formerly CIBERDASH) – Cloud-based monitoring platform that gathers live machine data and delivers dashboards, alerts, and performance analytics.
CI CUT (Nesting Software) – Laser programming software that converts 2D CAD files into optimized code and nests parts automatically for efficient cutting.
CI NEST (formerly Nesting Pro) – Advanced nesting solution using true-shape placement, rules-based automation, and 3D model unfolding to optimize material usage.
CI FORM (formerly BendSim Pro) – Offline press brake programming that automates tooling selection and simulates bending operations.
CI BEND (Bend Simulation) – Virtual press-brake simulation for collision checks, tool path creation, and validating bends before shop floor execution.
CI PLAN (Scheduler) – Workflow scheduler that assigns jobs across shifts and machines to optimize throughput and meet production deadlines.
CI CAST (formerly CIBERCAST) – Shopfloor display that broadcasts CI Connect monitoring data on video monitors for real-time visibility.
CI UNFOLD (Unfolder) – Software that imports 3D geometry and determines flat blank shapes for downstream nesting and bending processes.
Alan Oak, President & CEO of Cincinnati Incorporated, explains that these steps align with CI’s broader commitment to innovation, clarity, and ease of use across its expanding portfolio of equipment and digital tools. Through a unified family identity, CI aims to help customers more quickly identify the right software for their needs while continuing to deliver machines, and software, built for the way fabricators work.
“As we work to continually strengthen the CI brand, we’re not only simplifying how customers engage with our tools but also setting the stage for the future of fabrication,” said Oak. “Fabricators need powerful equipment supported by equally powerful digital tools. The CI software suite is designed to streamline shop operations while paving the way for smarter, more connected manufacturing, helping our customers compete today and thrive in the years ahead.”
Edwin Diaz, Software Product Manager at Cincinnati Incorporated, emphasized that the rebrand strengthens both customer confidence and brand consistency.
“Each product in the CI software family is now instantly recognizable as part of the Cincinnati brand,” said Diaz. “We’re enhancing the customer experience by making it easier to find, use, and support our software, knowing every solution is backed by the company they trust. Even small enhancements such as this are an opportunity to further solidify our role as a trusted partner, providing fabricators with solutions at every stage of their digital journey.”
