A Career Close to Home and Built to Last — This Is Trevor’s Story
Meet Trevor Fernandez, a Parts Department Manager at Cincinnati Incorporated. Learn more about Trevor and his career journey at Cincinnati Incorporated.
For Trevor Fernandez, finding Cincinnati Incorporated wasn’t just about landing a job—it was about finding something that would last.
After years of working on the road, Trevor was ready for a change. He wanted something closer to home, and something that would allow him to be present for his family. Through recommendations from former coworkers, he discovered Cincinnati Incorporated—and nearly nine years later, he’s still here, now serving as Parts Department Manager.
“I was looking for something local that I could stick around for my family,” Trevor recalls. “That’s how I ended up here.”
A Role That Never Stands Still
In the parts department, no two days look the same. Trevor describes the work as fast-paced and ever-changing—constantly moving from one urgent need to the next. But that’s exactly what makes it rewarding.
“We’re usually moving from one emergency to the next,” he says. “We get a lot done, but it never feels like the job’s done.”
For Trevor, that sense of constant motion isn’t frustrating—it’s fulfilling. At the end of each day, there’s a clear sense of accomplishment in knowing the team has kept customers up and running.
More Than Coworkers—A Family
Ask Trevor what stands out most about Cincinnati Incorporated, and his answer is immediate: the people.
“To me, the culture means working as a family,” he says. “Everybody I work with—even in other departments—I’ve grown very close to over the years.”
That sense of connection isn’t just surface-level. It’s something Trevor experiences daily, especially in his leadership role. Supporting his team, helping them overcome challenges, and seeing their success is what drives him.
“The thing I like most about my job is the employees I have under me,” he explains. “Helping them get past the hurdles they face day to day—and feeling appreciated—means a lot.”
Supporting a Century of Innovation
Trevor takes particular pride in the work his team does behind the scenes. At Cincinnati Incorporated, the commitment to customers doesn’t end after a machine is sold—it extends for generations.
“In the parts department, we support over a hundred years’ worth of machinery,” he says. “We have machines from the Great Depression era that are still up and running strong—and we keep them going.”
That legacy of durability and support is something Trevor doesn’t take lightly. It’s a responsibility—and a point of pride.
Proud to Be American-Made
Working for an American-owned and operated manufacturer is another meaningful aspect of Trevor’s career.
“I’ve always wanted to be in industrial manufacturing—especially something American-based,” he says. “It makes me proud to be part of a company that’s committed to staying here in the States.”
A Culture That Puts People First
One moment early in Trevor’s career continues to define his experience at CI. His manager at the time, Jim Nash, made a simple but powerful statement: family comes first.
“Whenever I had any kind of issue, he would always support me and my needs,” Trevor says. “That stuck with me.”
That kind of support helped build a sense of mutual loyalty—one that Trevor still feels today.
“I continue to choose CI because of the people,” he says. “There’s a loyalty there that goes both ways.”
A Commitment Customers Can Count On
For Trevor, the reason customers choose Cincinnati Incorporated is clear: long-term commitment.
“We stand behind our products,” he says. “And in the parts department, we make sure to follow through on that commitment.”
It’s a philosophy that mirrors Trevor’s own journey—steady, dependable, and built to last.
