The Scott Warning Memorial Race held a deeper meaning for Joe Warning as it honored the memory of his father, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in 2017. Scott Warning was a beloved figure in the racing community, known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone involved in the sport. Racers from all across the tri-state area and even from different parts of the country came together to pay tribute to this remarkable man.

The race drew an impressive turnout, with a total of 28 karts participating in the class. The competition was fierce, pushing each driver to their limits. However, only 18 racers were able to make it to the main event, showcasing the immense talent and dedication present on the track.

The main event was a heart-pounding 20-lap race, filled with an intense battle for position. As the laps dwindled, the anticipation reached its climax. It was on lap 18 when Evan Seay from Chesnee, South Carolina made a daring pass that secured him the ultimate victory. The crowd erupted into cheers as Seay crossed the finish line, celebrating a well-deserved win.

CI extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the participants of the 2023 Scott Warning Memorial Race. Your dedication and sportsmanship were truly inspiring. We also express our deepest gratitude to the Warning family for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event.

At CI, we believe in supporting the racing community and honoring the memories of those who have paved the way. The Scott Warning Memorial Race will always hold a special place in our hearts, reminding us of the indomitable spirit and camaraderie that define racing.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates and events from CI as we continue to foster a sense of community within the racing world.
