COURSE OBJECTIVES:   This class is designed to provide classroom and hands-on instruction for the maintenance and repair of the Fanuc 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 watt Laser as part of a CINCINNATI Laser System. This course also covers inspection, cleaning and alignment of beam delivery. For training on topics outside of the laser resonator, please consider our Frame Maintenance Class.   TOPICS:   Safety External Optics and Beam Alignment   Laser Theory Internal Optics: Inspection, Cleaning and Replacement   Machine Controls Excitation Mechanism   Mode Analysis & Tuning Laser Gas and Cooling   Calibrations       RECOMMENDATIONS:   Machine repair experience is recommended.   Working knowledge of a Windows® based operating system is strongly recommended.   Electrical knowledge is helpful.   Although programming and operation are briefly discussed in this program, we strongly recommend that you first attend the Laser Operator Class.   Prior experience working on the laser system with a Service Representative or a trained maintenance person is advised.   We highly recommend that soon after attending the maintenance class, participants complete a planned maintenance on a laser system, under the supervision of a CINCINNATI Service Representative, to review and practice what they’ve learned.   LIMITATIONS:   Due to machine availability, training at CINCINNATI can only be done for current model machines.
